There are currently 19 generations who since 1340 have followed the management of the Monfalletto property in the town of La Morra, at the center of the Barolo wine production area.
Even today the property is entirely family-run. Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo and his sons Elena and Alberto are the protagonists of this millennium. BAROLO CORDERO MONTEZEMOLO
The unique, unusual, unique area of the 28 hectares of vineyards extends across the slopes of the hill and has always been cultivated with the different local varieties, selected and implanted differently depending on sun exposure, soil type and altitude. Barolo Cordero Montezemolo
Over the last 50 years, Paolo Cordero di Montezemolo first, and his son Giovanni then, have expanded the area on which to cultivate the vine for the production of the wines of the Cellar. The most important purchase was in Villero, in the Commune of Castiglione Falletto, of an old vineyard of over 2 hectares, from which Barolo Enrico VI is produced. Barolo Cordero Montezemolo
