The company Elio Grasso, located in the town of Monforte d'Alba, counts on 42 hectares of which 24 of forests and meadows surrounding the 18 planted vineyards, now UNESCO Heritage.
"We like to be recognized first as peasants and then as producers: it is our way of honoring and continuing the work of those who before us have faced the hardships typical of those who work with nature and wine. That is why our family wants to highlight without presumption, the beliefs and ways of being of all Langa's rural families, those characteristic features that we believe make the difference. "
Although the size of the farm Elio Grasso has remained that of a small company, they have thought to equip us adequately and to provide us with the necessary spaces to work in the simplest and most rational manner as a result of the choice made for over thirty years, to produce all the wines in purity, vinifying the grapes for a single vineyard.
The wine cellar has its own specialty where vinification and refinement are carried out with care and without hassle, leaving each wine the time to mature and to achieve the right balance before bottling. And once in a bottle, the wines rest for several months before leaving the cellar. Equipped with an important evolution potential over time, but already appreciable and balanced even at a young age.
